CATCH UP TIME

Catch up time....I have been sewing off and on since my busy week with health things....Yesterday i finally finished the cosmetic bag i have been working on since about 3 weeks ago....all went well...so well it was scary thinking i forgot something lol....i probably should have worked on the other one that is waiting to be quilted and it too would have been finished....oh well it can wait for a bit....i hope to get these bags to my daughters this next week so she can put them in her shop where she does nails....just right for cosmetics so maybe they will sell in time for Christmas presents....

I also finished a little doll quilt so it could be packed ready to give to a needy girl for Christmas...my other daughter will pick the box up and take it to her church for distribution....that obligation is finished....yay....

Now i only have one more obligation....my quilt group swap box for Christmas to finish up....trying to get them all done before this next scope test in case they find where i am losing blood and have to put me in hospital to fix....i want all things i have to have done finished before that....i wish all that was over....

Today i have plans of working in sewing room...figured out a way to gain more space in the room so will work on that if i can find some muscle.....more later.....

LEFTOVER STACK STRAIGHTENED AND BLOCKS MADE

Remember that messy stack of fabric i posted a few back???? ...well here it is straightened up for the time being....knowing me it wont stay that way very long as i get pawing through it looking for just the right fabric for a project....fabric in those are anything from a fq to 3/4 yard pieces...the rest goes in the cabinet....i have strips in seperate boxes...not much organization but it works for me...

I stopped straightening and made blocks as i found the right combos so that slowed down working on the stack but i worked on it for most of the week beyond...since then i have made several size blocks from 2 3/4inch ones to 7 inch ones...for about 5 different quilts.....there are still more lined up on the sewing machine to work on...

Yesterday i got ambitious and repaired a zipper in one of my favorite pr of slacks....i hate doing that but it went well so it was a blessing lol....so glad!.....

Its a here and there day for me and work inbetween and i hope to get to the machine too....maybe even take a short nap later for more rest...i feel my legs need it....more later....
